01 Control the charging time
Avoid overcharging, over-discharging and undercharging, which will shorten the battery life. Develop the habit of "shallow charging and shallow discharging".
Q:What is "shallow charging and shallow discharging"?
A:When a battery is charged between 20% and 90% and not charged to 100%, it is considered shallow charging and shallow discharging.
02 Avoid excessive sunlight or cold when charging
Exposing the vehicle to the sun will increase the internal pressure of the battery, causing the battery to lose water and accelerate battery aging. Similarly, parking in a cold environment for a long time will also have an adverse effect on the performance of the battery pack.
03 Avoid deep discharge
Generally, the car will remind you to charge as soon as possible when the remaining power is 20%. If you continue to drive at this time, the battery will be deeply discharged, which will shorten the battery life. Therefore, when the remaining power of the battery is low, you should charge it in time.
04 Do not lose power during long-term storage
If the vehicle is to be parked for a long time, be sure not to let the battery run out of power (low voltage). When the battery is running out of power, it is easy for sulfation to occur. Lead sulfate crystals adhere to the plates, which will block the ion channels, causing insufficient charging and reducing the battery capacity. Therefore, new energy vehicles should be fully charged when parked for a long time. It is recommended to charge regularly to keep the battery in a healthy state.
